Aims & Philosophy

All at Leabrook work together with a common purpose in order to meet the aims of providing excellent nursing care and support. It is the intention to enhance the resident’s quality of life, ensure understanding, promote optimum independence and explore and develop potential whenever possible.

Our philosophy is that all residents will be dealt with as individuals with dignity, sensitivity and confidentiality. The residents will always be provided with the care and support that they deserve to the highest possible standard, catering for their medical, social, pastoral and environmental requirements. Wherever possible, full consultation with residents and/or their representatives will take place in the construction of the respective care plans ensuring that all needs are fully met.

Leabrook strives to be a ‘Centre of Excellence’ not only for the care of their residents but also in the support and advice it offers to family and friends. It continually strives to meet and exceed the guidelines as prescribed by the Essential standards of quality and safety and other guidance as followed by the Inspecting Agency (CQC).

Leabrook promotes equality, diversity and human rights for all; residents, staff and visitors and monitors its standards by continual assessments.
